Guidok honela gonbidatzen zaitu
“Lappo gibelean utzi dut, baita Dante ere,
Hara, itsasoetan barna abiatuko naiz zurekin soilki!
Ez egidazu maitasun-solasik, ez azoka-saltzaileen gezurrik esan.
Nirea da ontzia, merkantziak zureak
Mundu itsu osoak ez daki zuk hel egin zenion,
Nik hel egin nion ekintzaren berri.
Hara, ametsez estekaturik ikusi zaitut,
Hara, zure bihotza eta zure bihotzaren nahia ezagutu ditut;
Bizia, bizi osoa, ene itsasoa eta gizaki guztien ur-lasterrak
Bertan elkartzen dira sugarrak aldare batean bezalaxe!
Hara, zuk ez duzu bidaiarik egin! Nirea da itsasontzia!”.
