Erruki zaitez nitaz ez egunaren argia

Badoalako zerutik eguna bukatzean;

Erruki zaitez nitaz ez landa eta sasia

Ederrez soiltzeagatik urtea igarotzean;

Izan errukia niri ez ilbehera hasteaz

Ez itsasbeheran joateaz urak itsasora,

Ez gizonaren desira hain azkar isiltzeaz

Zu ez egoteaz jada niri maitez begira.

Hau dut betidanik jakin: amodioa ez da

Lore irekia besterik, haizeak erasana;

Urertz aldabera oinkatzen duen uholde eskerga,

Enbatetan bildu hondar berriak dakartzana:

Erruki nitaz bihotzak ikasteagatik geldo

Buruak behin eta berriz dakusana agudo.
